About Us

That travelling, teaching environmental family

Two adults, four kids, a caravan.

Travelling Australian with a free spirit, a deep thirst for adventure and a heart for conservation.

Teaching schools about conservation of this beautiful land as we go.

Welcome to Caravan of Conservation, led by me – earth mama Theresa Schlink, with the support of my husband Ben, and our little sidekicks Noah, Harper, Willow and Solly.

As a mum of a big family who loves to explore, I’m soulfully aware of our impact on the earth. I’m driven to learn more, teaching my own and other children about how we can conserve our precious planet.

That’s why I created Caravan of Conservation.

We are far from perfect but together, every change no matter how small, matters!

Children are the key to conservation

Can you hear that? It’s the call of nature, asking us to stop, think, conserve.

As green spaces are lost, animals fight to survive and our oceans become a soup of rubbish, it’s time for us to change our ways and preserve the planet for future generations.

That change starts with us. And it’s our responsibility to teach children how they can conserve nature so they have the tools and knowledge to live sustainably.

Caravan of Conservation is about us taking a stand. For our own children, our towns, our cities, our nation, the world.

Conservation is about saving what is left and fixing what is broken. As a mum, I glance ahead to the world that my children will be left to deal with, and it’s going to be a pretty grim one if we don’t start to take some simple actions.

Children really are our future and they need to learn from us on to become the Re-Generation. They are the key to conservation.

We need to create a new normal. A normal in which we use less, minimise waste, act with conscience and put nature first.

So, we’re travelling around Australia and listening to the earth, the sea and nature for what it can teach us about conservation. We want to teach our children – and hopefully yours – that this is what’s important in life.

We’re etching a love of our country, our world, our wildlife and all that naturally belong to it
deep within our children’s souls. We are determined to raise good humans. To nurture the sweet little natures and curious minds of our children.

Jump on board and let us teach your students to nurture our nature.
